Explore the hidden wonders of nature’s tiny treasures! From insects to shells, acorns to flower buds, there are stunningly intricate details in backyard beauty.
Using watercolors, colored pencils, and other mixed media, participants will draw to see more in the miniature marvels found in your local ecosystems. We’ll focus on playful observation of the small everyday treasures as well as unusual one. My drawing to see, we’ll develop observation skills, improve sketching skills, and practice strategies to bring the 3-dimensional world onto the page. We’ll bring our nature journal pages to life as we marvel in curiosity, wonder, connection to the natural world.
